*allow : 발음 주의 (/uh LAAW)

 -ow가 -aw로 발음되는 경우 꽤 많음. 조심!

(ex) /aw/로 발음 -> now, owl, power, sound  <->  /ow/로 발음 : lower, own 

 

*pros and cons : 장단점

* the + a / e / i / o / u 로 시작하는 단어가 아니라 '아, 에, 이, 오, 우'로 발음되는 단어 앞에서 '디'라고 읽는다.

* to는 two와 달리 짧게 발음한다. 'ㅌ-'
